Purpose:    SECA is a non-profit, non-political and nonsectarian clown association which maintains a membership clown organization for the Southeastern United States to help members learn more about the art of clowning and fellowshipping with member clowns; and to provide community service at least one afternoon during the yearly convention.
History: SECA was formed in 1981. Our annual convention has been held every year in one of the member states in either late September or early October.
The Annual Convention: Let's you:
  • Compete if you wish in the combined skit/makeup competitions (single, group, gospel) as well as paradeability and balloon sculptures
  • Attend a variety of educational workshops and lectures
  • Replenish your clown supplies from a well stocked dealer's room
  • Join in warm fellowship with some of America's finest clowns

Membership:   SECA's primary membership comes from 10 southeastern states...
Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
