Lee "Juggles" Mullally is the Assistant Director of Clown Camp® where he has been an instructor since 1990. The University of Florida recognized Lee's teaching abilities by awarding him with the outstanding teaching award in 1994 and 1995. Lee is a prolific author of clown books and articles. He is a Past President of the WCA and served as its Education Director and a Past President of SECA and served as its Competition Director and Education Director. Juggles has performed internationally and is a sought after entertainer in the Gainesville community. He received the Gator Exchange Club's Book of Golden Deeds award, the World Clown Association Clown of the Year in 1994, SECA’s Bobby Williams Award in 2003 and the 2007 E.T. York Distinguished Service Award for Gainesville, Florida.
Classes:
Comedy Juggling - This class will focus on four types of comedy
juggling (fumbling, jokes and gags, storytelling, magic and participants will
be able to differentiate between the types. A demonstration of each type will
take place and participants will see how the props used in each routine were
constructed. A discussion of how to incorporate juggling into theme shows will
also take place.
Developing and Performing
Skits - Participants will be presented with sources for skit ideas.
The elements of a skit will be presented using well known skits as a reference.
Participants will be able to describe at least five elements that need to be
considered when performing skits. Participants will share skit ideas and, if
possible, demonstrate the skit.
