Mary Lou “Sparkle” Stasiek has been clowning for 9 years. Three of those nine years were spent doing tradeshow clowning where she clowned at over 240 tradeshows all over the United States and Puerto Rico. She has also done interactive sales presentations for various corporations as a clown where she wrote and conducted the entire presentation. Mary Lou also performs at birthday parties, company picnics, grand openings and various other events. In 2002, she started her own business, Clown Wear Plus, where she offers street clothes and accessories with embroidered clown designs. Mary Lou has been a lecturer at various clown conventions and conferences as she draws on her experiences to help others in clowning.

Do’s and Dont’s of Clowning - This is an introductory, interactive class on the role, responsibilities, types of entertaining and code of ethics of the beginner clown. It will address the issues of purchasing various clown entertainment products and their uses in the clown program. It will also clearly identify the need for additional schooling in the art of clowning.
